Equipment
A&H Equipment includes the production of all parts and appliances. The working techniques are splicing, winding, rigging, braiding, sewing, riveting, crimping, soldering, screwing and other form-fitting and force-fitting connections. Krzysztof Lukaszewski (LPO) is responsible for the manufacturing division.
Manufacture of components and equipment - it's manual work
The components and equipment are manufactured in Immensee. For a few items, especially those made of steel and molded plastic parts, we work with subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
Since July 2020 we have our own braider (24-250). The second braider (32-100) went into operation in June 2022. In March 2023, a 16-180 and a 48-100 went into service. Basically everything around the braided or twisted rope is manual work.
Why A&H Equipment?
AirWork & Heliseilerei GmbH (A&H) is a leading manufacturer of innovative and high-quality customer solutions in the field of load handling and lifting gear as well as load securing for helicopters, drones, space and fixed-wing aircraft.
Purchasing parts and equipment from A&H Equipment is an investment in reliability, functionality, compliance and safety.

A&H Equipment disposes of 4 sewing machines meeting every expectation, from free-hand sewing to precisely reproducible bartack seams for certified lanyards, lashing straps or load securing nets.
Our "Lehner 24-250" old-timer model (from 1967), for example, amongst many other applications, is used to braid the extra-strong cover of the TLP logging longline. We now run 4 weavers.
Sewing machine #1: "Allround"
The good old Pfaff has had its day! It was replaced by the new and powerful Dürkopp-Adler. Bags, coats and more.
Sewing machine 32: the bartacker
The automatic bartacker can sew webbings from 12 to 60 mm and up to 5 layers or 10 mm in total thickness. All EN 354: 2010 lanyards or simple PCDS are sewn with this machine.
Sewing machine #3: the free arm machine
Whether round, narrow, short, high-density or "thick" fabrics, this cylinder-bed sewing machine tackles nearly everything up to 12 mm in thickness – even leather goods.
Sewing machine #4, aka "the bull"
With this machine we can also create "fat" constructions like, for example, multi-layer loops made of different fabrics or lanyards and straps up to 15 mm in thickness.
Braider 16-180
The braider 16-180 has large spools and enables long braiding lengths or special braids. Rami, a natural fiber, is currently clamped.
Opening 30 mm, for constructions up to 20 mm or on request.
The 24-250 braider
Our "Lehner 24-270", originally conceived as a steel braider, is the only machine in our area of operations capable of braiding the monofilament used for the extra-strong cover of the TLP logging LongLine.
Opening 45 - 70, for lines up to d 50 mm
The 32-100 braider
There is no core without a cladding! From 4mm to 30 mm, this guy will do almost anything.
By the way: here you can see the green-neon colored rPET yarn with which we braid the ropes of the future.
Opening 36, for lines up to d 30 mm
Braider 48-100
Complex and dense coats or special constructions can be braided with the braider 48-100.
Opening 80 mm, constructions on request.
ZUPF
This machine is used to splice Keflar ropes with high precision and under defined loads.
- Cable d 2 - 6 mm, L 50 - 2000 mm
